A brief description.
Ruth is a former Head of ICT/Computing and AST (Advanced Skills Teacher) at a secondary school in South London and the founder of TestandTrack. She went part-time a few years ago to pursue various endeavours and the setting up of her own business – TeachingComputing.com which has a global membership of over 1500 schools. This was followed by the launch of the hugely popular teachyourselfpython.com and testandtrack.io was launched in 2019. Ruth still teaches Computer Science and programming at primary to advanced levels (at a secondary school in the South East) and is also an instructor on Udemy with 7,000+ enrolled students.
Jonathan is the key driving force behind TestandTrack as well as the design, marketing, commercial and sales contact. He is a qualified solicitor and in addition to his legal duties devotes two days a week to supporting 28 churches in the South East of England, UK. Jonathan studied history and law and has several years of experience in advising businesses. He enjoys the thrill of being involved in a start-up and enjoys learning new things every day. He is married to Ruth and they have one daughter.
Sudesh is a hardworking technical genius, committed to TestandTrack from its earliest stages and has 10+ years of experience in IT, website design and development. He is skilled in various technologies including MCV, Php, CodeIgniter, Oracle, R12-EBS, PLSQL as well as with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX. Sudesh is TestandTrack’s key developer and is an enthusiastic, loyal and patient programmer. He is also an entrepreneur himself with a passion for web design.
Sally has considerable experience in education in the state and private sectors, in both teaching and administration. Having trained as a teacher of secondary English, she taught pupils from Year 7 through to GCSE and A-Level. She studied for an MA in Education followed by a Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties after which she became Director of Studies at the prep school where she was teaching which enabled her to gain an excellent overview of the workings of a school across all curriculum areas. The leadership and administrative experience which she has gained through her roles within schools re-enforced by her methodical approach and meticulous eye for detail have proved to be considerable assets in her post as research and marketing consultant within Test and Track.
David is a Software Engineer. He loves taking ideas and making them reality and is an invaluable creative consultant for TestandTrack. David has worked with PwC for 6 years and for 10 years in the insurance/banking sector. He currently works for a Christian mission called SIM with his wife and 3 kids. He was also involved, as creator and developer, of a worthy project – Uconnecta -commissioned by the Peruvian government to advance public education by using ICT to improve the quality and efficiency of communications at university level. Chris has over 40 years’ experience of teaching secondary pupils and was Head of Department (Computer Science and Networking) in a top ranking independent school. Although trained as a Physicist, Chris taught IT, Computing and Electronics. He enjoys teaching all ages (up to 92 years old!) and applying his problem solving skills to a wide variety of situations. In his spare time Chris is very involved as music coordinator in his local church and enjoys playing the piano and guitar. Chris is a valuable member of TestandTrack, contributing to the areas of content development and testing.
