Introducing Bitcoin

Bitcoin has been the talk of the town for quite some time now, and lots of people — whether or not they’re tech enthusiasts — have invested in this fairly new digital currency. Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, without a central bank or single administrator, that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries. It was created by Satoshi Nakamoto who, to this date, remains a mystery! As part of the implementation, Nakamoto also devised the first blockchain database. Nakamoto was active in the development of bitcoin up until December 2010. Many people have claimed, or have been claimed, to be Nakamoto.
