Delve into the world of Cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrency could well be the future. Everyone is talking about it, millions are investing in it. £1000 of Bitcoin in 2010 would have been worth in excess of £35 million today! So what's all the hype about? How has it changed the world and what does the future hold?
A cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency that is secured by cryptography, which makes it nearly impossible to counterfeit or double-spend.
In the next lesson [advanced level python] students can code a mining simulation and participate in a challenge/task that will help gain some real world understanding into how bitcoin and mining works. But first, some basics!
