Ways of Communicating online

For the purposes of this unit, you may be encouraged to use your internal school email. Else, with your parent/carer and teacher's permission you could explore the use of these email providers too. There are of course other ways to communicate online such as the use of chat, blogs, news forums, and more.

Raymond Samuel Tomlinson (Above) (April 23, 1941 – March 5, 2016) was a pioneering American computer programmer who implemented the first email program on the ARPANET system, the precursor to the Internet, in 1971; he is internationally known and credited as the inventor of email.
